Designs Teams will be expected to prepare proposals for the integrated treatment of the bomb site and the temporary memorial garden and the project will entail the development of a permanent memorial garden with a major public art element.
At Stage 1 Design Teams are invited to submit an outline design concept. On the basis of submissions received at Stage 1, the Panel of Assessors will select six Design Teams and invite them to prepare and submit detailed proposals for the memorial.
The total budget for this project is £240,000 with at least £100,000 of this budget being ring fenced for the public art element.
