A plan (6178) for an observatory tower was presented to the National Planning & Building Committee. The committee decided to return the plan to the regional committee and requested to examine alternative tourist attractions. The goal of this competition is to provide alternative plans for a truly unique tourist attraction to be developed on this important site. As the site will be developed privately, reference to economic factors are a crucial element to be examined within the contest.
